Slashes of warm hues race across the ceiling. A checkerboard of ceramic tiling offsets long mirrored walls. Metallic chairs, pink neon lights, and lush orchids abound. Such décor brings some retro-sleek flair to Ninth Avenue, but there’s nothing old school about Q2 Thai.

Restaurateurs M & P have created a new culinary formula for Thai cooking: Q2 = Quality x Quantity. Every dish boasts large portions at agreeable prices and proves that the best Thai food doesn’t have to come from middling mom-and-pop shops.
This casual Midtown eatery is every bit as avant garde American in design as it is traditional Thai in taste. Under the supervision of co-owner and executive chef Koh (whose restaurant revolution includes the popular Hell’s Kitchen upstarts Aceluck and Aura), the kitchen puts out authentic entrees and memorable specials packed with herbs and spices like basil, kaffir leaves, lemongrass, and galangal. The clarity of the four flavors is so sharp and robust that one can taste sweet, sour, salty, and spicy all at once. Undeniably, this indescribable palatable mingle is a cornerstone of Thai cuisine—especially that of Q2 Thai cuisine.
With an affordable wine list—all selections complement the food perfectly—and brisk and friendly, though unobtrusive service, Q2 Thai bears repeating.

Always tasty

I ordered a pad thai with a thai iced tea. The pad thai was really gross. It was very salty and the noodles were stuck together. I threw the food out after a few bites. Never again.

Delivery was fast and the food was hot. Our first time ordering from this restaurant. We will definitely order from here again.

great food for a low price... thank you

The Chive Pancakes were undercooked and soggy in the center and greasy and overdone on the outside. The Green Papaya Salad was very spicy and nothing special. And the Grilled Eggplant was very plain without the sauce it came with. The vegetable dumplings were forgettable.

the drunken noodles are awesome, but the lunch specials DON"T come with a salad (even though it says it does)... in my experience you get some lukewarm mystery soup and a cold spring roll... might as well order the full portion and just get something else on the side. anyway, the food's really good & v. spicy but the lunch special's not really worth it.

The drunken noodles here are great! Spicy and large portion. Quick and accurate delivery every time.

Their Jungle Curry has the perfect level of spice. I just wish there were more veggies in their curries.

There are tons of thai restaurants in hell's kitchen, but this always consistently good and I think its a little more spicy than the others, which I like.

I personally like Room Service better, but this place is solid thai!

When I order Thai, this is where I order from. The food is really good and it always arrives super warm. The Spicy noodles are what I get everytime. There is a lot of food too that I often times have enough for the next day! Very good and recommend!!!!!!

This place can be hit or miss. Lunch specials arrive with cold appetizers and can take a while.

We ordered at 6pm for 7PM delivery, we didn't get the food until 8:20PM!!! AND they forgot to give us rice! It was the horrible delivery experience!!!

Delish Drunken Noodles!

Excellent green curry chicken. Peanut sauce for chicken satay was also tasty. The serving sizes are generous. Delivery time was spot on. I'll definitely re-order next time I'm in the mood for Thai food.

Let's just say that the best part of the meal was the free spring roll. Dont waste your time or money. it was prob one of the worst thai i have ever tried.

I have been ordering from Q2 Thai for about a year now. The food is consistently delicious and it’s even better that I can order off of Seamlessweb.com. This makes ordering for the office much easier.

Order took an hour and 10mins. The food is hit and miss. Sometimes it's swimming in oil and grease but some other nights it's actually quite good. But appalled at delivery time. DO NOT ORDER UNLESS YOU CAN WAIT UP TO HOUR AND HALF.

Very tasty and spicy. Lunch special portions aren't huge, but they're reasonably sized. Meal came with a mystery appetizer and soup. I would have preferred that they told me or included a note so I knew what I was eating.

Food was super tasty but it took 1hr and 45min to get here so it was cold and had to be microwaved. House Thai peanut sauce and shrimp was great, shumai was so-so, panang curry was incredibly spicy. A bit pricey for Thai take-out.

Solid, tasty Thai food at the right price. The pad Thai is on-par with other places in Hell's Kitchen, but the Panang Curry is delicious - just the right amount of heat vs. sweet, lots of bell peppers, perfect amount of curry for the rice... Pad Gra Pow is also a favorite here. If you want delivery Thai, this is by far the best Hell's Kitchen option (certainly beats the Yum Yum dynasty chains). Only real negative is that the spring rolls are fried, not wrapped in rice paper. Otherwise would give this place 5 stars.

Bul go gui entree (Korean dish) is pretty good, even though this is a Thai restaurant.

The Tom Kha soup and Red Curry were delicious! Spicy and flavorful -- the first Thai food delivery we've had in midtown that did not disappoint.

The food was really good and tasty, just a bit pricey. Also not the healthiest for those of us that are calorie conscious. The appetizers were way overpriced while the main course felt like a better value. Overall I was happy.

I absolutely love Thai food, and on Seamless Q2 is far and away my go-to choice. The portions are generous, the prices are good, and their curries never cease to amaze. Highly reccomend it if you're a fan of Thai food - definitely a cut above the rest.

I just ordered Pad Thai and fried rice from here, and the food came in about 12 minutes. It's pretty darn yummy too. I was just really impressed that it came that quickly. Maybe it's because I live a block away.

Terrible. Everything was overly sweet, overcooked and not at all fresh.

Really good, and cheap, so you can get a lot; my only complaint is they don't have jungle or country curry.
